today is national day.... enjoying myself quite alot... happy birthday to singapore...42 yrs old ler....
actualli i always wonder... am i proud to be a Singaporean??? i have no doubt in saying YES!
however.... i have a group of friends who dun realli proud to be one...
some sae was due to politics....
some sae is GST
some sae is singaporean's attitude and character: kiasu, kiasi, kiabo....
but i realli feel that, that's what make us different..... With Singlish...li, lah, lor, leh etc.... with all the awards won...
i travel ard neighbourhood countries...dun sae i bias, but it's true....
Malaysia: big and wonderful country to be...but air pollution- smokers even smoke under the sign 'no smoking'... roads always jam due to high number of cars/vehicles...
Thailand: relaxation place to be...but...attitude in airport realli bad...i ever came across an incident that the lady saw a "ah mo" - foreigner from either USA, Australia, Europe or UK... i came first in queue, but instead of serving me, she ask me to go back to queue and ask him to come first....skin color different mah~ mayb.... =)
Indonesia: kampong type of living...but u are in a risk of natural disaster-vocalno eruption... definitely dun dream of "class" shoppings...about securities...dun ask too much...hehe...
Batam: an island like singapore...oni risk u have is kena bite by mosquitoes...they r all big and fat....
but truely speaking....about cleanliness none can VS singapore...coz' we are a clean and green country! we a SMALL RED DOT to be...BUT we ROCKS!!! =)
